In this one week fun and educational filmmaking workshop participants work in small teams to plan, shoot, and edit short documentary videos filmed in and around downtown Silver Spring, Maryland.
Participants will be provided access to and training with video cameras and editing equipment. Final projects will be shown in a mini-festival for family and friends on the last day of the workshop, videos will be uploaded to YouTube, and may also be featured at the Community Stories Film Festival 2026.
