On October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Strathmore’s Mansion grounds will transform into a festive, pet-friendly celebration with its Hauntings: Pet Costume Parade, a free event (RSVP required) that invites your furry or feathered friends to don their spooky best. Participants can strut in costume through the parade, pose at the Pet Selfie Station with haunting backdrops, and compete for prizes in categories like best homemade costume and best human–pet duo. Open to well-behaved domesticated animals of all kinds, the event encourages responsible participation only when pets are comfortable in public social settings. Parking is available on site at the Mansion and nearby Metro garage, and the Grosvenor-Strathmore Red Line station offers convenient access for attendees.
